Wrapped up a great day for @ncpublicschools by awarding a grant to @BeaufortCoSchNC with @RepKidwell & @CheezSupe!

Replacing two 50+ year old buildings, the new Washington Elementary School will serve nearly 1,000 pre-k through third grade students in a modern facility with enhanced safety and security measures. Combining the two aging buildings will strengthen academics and the community environment as students will be able to remain in one building throughout their elementary school journey. #nced
