@Lei_D_ I guess I was dumb for spending so much time on useless conversation. You never really get anywhere with discussions like this. Worth a try though, maybe you'll think back one day and decide against using the word just once. Could make a positive change, you never know
@Lei_D_ if that's the case for your sister, sure, just think that doesn't justify using it
but I'm done here now. I hope you and your family have a good life & that the both of us will learn more about how to help others outside and online & how to accept and protect all kinds of people
@Lei_D_ I'm really sorry that's what you face everyday. And I really wish things were different. I was just talking about my reality, which is knowing words can do harm too, without comparing it to physical harm. And I know that the r-slur is doing harm, harm that could be easily avoided
@Lei_D_ discriminating slurs. I'm not a POC but I know they're confronted with discriminating slurs that shouldn't be used too. I'm aware of the many other dangers and problems and risks in life and it's an awful thing that just going outside is a major risk to you. I hope you stay safe.
@Lei_D_ at this point, I think you're just trolling. You keep on saying the r-slur, you already said yourself that your sister dislikes it. I don't get what you're trying to do. To me, there's a difference between using insults in everyday language as a joke among friends and +
@Lei_D_ It's an offensive, harmful slur. Literally. Some might be okay with being called the r-slur (because it's not a big deal to them or something) but it's overall soo problematic. Like it's not okay to use. Not even a question of mindset. It just shouldn't be used, for reasons
@tunauznay @Lei_D_ Just saying that life is better when you accept people of all identities, I know mine is, which is why I think respect for lgbtqia+ ppl does matter. I was honestly just here to criticize the use of the r-slur though. Live your life, don't make it harder for others&have a nice day
@tunauznay @Lei_D_ I thought about whether or not to use an "insult" but honestly, there's a difference between using a slur to do harm to innocent people of a certain minority and using an "insult" based on people's actions to call them by. Your mindset does make you a prick in my eyes, sorry
@tunauznay @Lei_D_ I'm sure you already know everything I would say to that, you just choose to ignore it. Maybe you'll learn to open up your mind someday. Your ignorance makes your life so much more boring and less colorful, it's your loss honestly
@Lei_D_ You must really HATE having basic respect for other people. There is nothing shameful about being disabled, the r-word is an awful slur and asking for pronouns to respect someone is literally the bare minimum. While you and other pricks don't care about that, a lot of people do.
