The pivot towards the Imperial Japan plotline is extremely exciting. In hindsight, I'm amazed it took so long. I'm starting to think the Hitler stuff was just a motte and bailey to draw people in and to get to this.

The cube trilogy is so weird because the first movie is a genuine avant garde masterpiece that everyone should watch at least one time, and then 2 and 3 are the biggest pieces of dogshit ever and I love them for it
