Minor idiot - typical cultural Muslim.
Serious idiot - your average Social media Muslim.
Complete idiot - Your average Dawah

The first nullifier:
Shirk in the worship of Allah. Allah said: ��Verily, Allah does not forgive that partners be associated with Him, but He forgives what is less than that to whom He wills.” And He said: “Verily, whoever associates partners with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will not have any helpers.”

And from it is sacrificing to other than Allah, such as one who sacrifices to the jinn or to a grave.

The second nullifier:
Whoever places intermediaries between himself and Allah, calling upon them, asking them for intercession, and relying upon them, has disbelieved by consensus.

Once you have committed Shirk you are an apostate, you can repent (in some cases) and be Muslim again, but while you are an apostate you are not viewed as a Muslim.
