At age 46!!! I was just hours away from seeing our adopted newborn daughter. I sat holding our 1 yr old and thought about our 12 yr old (both boys adopted at birth). I had my Bible on my lap and I was crying. As thrilled as I was to have a daughter I was scared! Could I really do this at my age?!

I randomly opened my Bible and these are the first words I read, "Even youths will faint and be weary, and the young will fall exhausted;
31 but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, Isaiah 40:30. Now I am 69 yrs. and our three children (36, 25, 24) are having dinner here tonight. We are a close, loving family. All I can tell you is, "God IS faithful!" Prayers and Blessings on your new family <3

It recently occurred to me that people are genuinely confused by my support of President Trump. Let me clear that up.
When I was seventeen, I read about the great revivalist, Smith Wigglesworth. I was so moved by his faith that I asked God to develop that kind of faith in me. I was naïve, not realizing that faith is always forged in fire-just ask Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego!
That kind of faith is not built on ‘maybe’, or “I hope so.” It’s built on the absolute certainty that God has spoken a promise and He cannot lie. Can I misunderstand? Yes, but a lifetime of listening has developed an ear tuned to truth. In the deepest part of my heart, where my faith lives, I believe that God has destined Donald Trump to serve four more years as our President.
I’m done debating policy or whatever the lying media has portrayed as their truth. In my lifetime I have learned a lot about the character of God, and the God that I know will not abandon America to the tyranny of socialism. For those who think it is over, trust me, that’s God’s favorite battleground. Buckle up.
