Kidnapping children is despicable and wholly unjustifiable. For obvious reasons, this picture has hit home with me. May Noya and all hostages taken by Hamas be returned soon, safely, to their families.

@SarahLGates1@nayanikaaa @Freya_J_Leach Firstly, these numbers are incorrect and manipulated. Second, are you justifying beheading babies and gang-raping women? Whatever passed between Israel and Palestine, which is terrible to both sides, what the Hamas has done this week cannot be justified. Not now, not ever.
@Baddiel When the media shows 40 dead babies, some of them beheaded, just be silent. No whatabouts, no buts, no ifs. There is nothing in the world that can justify that level of monstrosity.
Given that every account on here of horrors committed by Hamas is met by various people saying "what about the terrible things done by the IDF?", I'm keen to understand how this isn't whataboutery.
I've never written an article with so many tears and a bleeding heart. I've never felt as alienated in Australia as I did this week. My article in @TheBigSmokeAU about why the #rally on Monday was a disgrace.
