It’s embarrassing that Australian politicians and left-wing activists, who once took a knee and publicly mourned the American criminal George Floyd, are now silent on the tragic murder of innocent UK teenager Henry Nowak.

The circumstances are demonstrably worse, the racial motivations are plainly evident, and the police’s culpability in the aftermath is crystal clear. The story comes from the nation with whom our Head of State resides. Even the words Henry uttered to police as they ignored his pleas echo those that dominated headlines for weeks. It seems odd, therefore, that these social justice activists have not even uttered the name Henry Nowak.

Such comparisons ought not to be necessary, for one life should never be valued above another. Nevertheless, the hypocrisy remains self-evident. This appears to be a clear case of selective identity politics: convenient when it serves their narrative, but ignored when it might offend in this instance migrant communities rather than simply score points against Australia’s past. Unless it aligns with their ideological agenda, it will almost certainly be consigned to the dustbin of history.

Bins and other projectiles have now been thrown at police officers policing the flash protest outside Southampton Central Police Station.

Wales is on track to become the first country in the world to kick out politicians for deliberately lying.

This isn't about punishing accidental mistakes.

It’s not about banning personal opinions.

The Welsh Government has passed new legislation to roll out rules that would allow an independent process to disqualify election candidates and parliament members found guilty of intentional deception.

That could mean forced correction notices.

Official sanctions.

Suspension.

Voter recall.

And in the most serious cases, getting removed from office entirely.

Supporters believe this is a massive step toward earning back public trust in politics.

Because at the end of the day, voters can always disagree on taxes, healthcare, schools, or climate policy.

But democracy completely falls apart if politicians are allowed to look voters in the eye, lie on purpose, and walk away with zero consequences.

The idea is simple but powerful:
