What I would do as a fresh FIRST CLASS graduates interested in international opportunities.

1. Post on Social Media (LinkedIn and X) that I graduated with a First Class Degree☺️

2. Speak to many lecturers in my department and faculties of my intention in applying to opportunities abroad. I will get their contact information (Full name, position, email address, phone number).

3. In parallel, I will start the processing of my 10 years Nigerian international passport. 5 years option if I don't have a lot of money to spare.

4. I will apply for my student copy of Transcript, Statement of result/certificate and English letter from my school.

5. Speak to my thesis supervisor of my intention in publishing my bachelor thesis. In parallel, I will already put the thesis in publication style format.

7. I will join scholarships whatsapp groups and follow individuals online to stay updated of upcoming scholarships.

8. I will check online for the application timeline for @MtScholarships , @iScholarInitia1 and @EdUSANigeria
OFP program to sponsor my GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL.

9. I will fix my CV and get it reviewed then start contacting professors abroad.

10 I will check the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue to find 5 programs that matched my background. Then Apply.

11. I will apply to commonwealth shared scholarships to atleast 5 UK schools.

12. I will apply to IDEX excellence scholarships in Paris saclay university. I will apply to the masters program in english and I will be automatically considered.

13. I will check https://t.co/Qco6y0039W and filter it based on my situation for posssible scholarships.

14. I will check Italy based scholarships such as padua, calabria, torino etc for their masters scholarships.

15. I will find accountability partners to discuss our progress.

16. I will shadow mark 3 - 5 US schools that offers app fee waiver. Then submit application incase Uncle T opens the gate.

17. Find a scholar to review my document. I will shadow mark them on Linkedin

18. I will do all this in parallel with NYSC preparation.

19. At this point, If nothing works out. I will rinse and repeat.
