Physical activity should not be promoted as a cure for LongCovid:
PEM-screening reveals a wrong understanding of LongCovid, a severe multisystemic disease that deserves effective and adequate medication. Patients should be protected, not left untreated, even without PEM evidence.

This is extremely damaging. PEM is not the defining factor as to whether exercise is safe or dangerous in long Covid.

@Eerrnn @atranscendedman OMG, PEM is not even well defined and we know most of pwLC have cardiovascular issues. This is a disaster. Some researchers wanted so badly to be famous that they forgot patients' health at some point very far away.

@atranscendedman I guess it is just the contrary. By trying to transform an etiology disease into a symptomatic condition to fit into others has led to patients' loss of opportunities. Researchers, investers and institutions have focussed on the wrong angle all this time so they could be funded.

La dernière chose dont on avait besoin c'est que Ruffin récupère le Covid Long pour la plus grande joie de Margulies (Printemps Républicain) et en confondant le Covid Long et l'EM 🙄🤦‍♀️ Les 2 millions (sous estimation) c'est bien 2 millions de Covid Longs (pas CL et EM).

Place in the UK that offers a rehab program for Long COVID recently changed its name to a rehab center for “Long-Term Conditions.” Sounds like it offers GET, so not a big loss, but another example of COVID getting erased from the culture.
