I could spend all day tidepooling and not get bored once.

If you have problems with people telling their story, stop giving them content for their story.

@dustychipura #AuDHD The sensory issues are both a blessing and curse. If I'm overstimulated, I need you to *not* touch me. If I'm having a good day, then I want *ALL* the touches. I typically don't know what type of day it is until we're in the moment. Being married to me is fun.

@TheFriskyFairy @dustychipura Also adding a link to @thefantasybox's "All About Her" box because it's a great value if you plan on purchasing the toy. Be sure to upgrade to the Platinum box. It comes with the upgraded toy, really nice lingerie, and other extras. https://t.co/xlrj1tzsna

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@TheFriskyFairy @dustychipura Adding: Forgot to add this toy is for people with a clitoris. The extra cost for the "autopilot" mode on the #WomanizerPremium2 version is 1000% worth it.

Context: I'm putting together stories/excerpts/poems/etc to use when making #copywork cursive pages for my kiddo w #dysgraphia, a learning disability that is like #dyslexia and #dyscalculia but affects motor and organizational skills as it pertains to writing.

#HiveMind: What is something you read that had a profound impact on you in your early teen years? Alternatively, what is something you *wish* you read at that age? (Context in next tweet) #neurodiversity #NeurodivergentSquad #neurodiversesquad #diversity

@benbahblackshe1 @dustychipura That's incredible! Bravo!!!

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@DeathB4Decaf @dustychipura I played Magic too! You should check out this really cool spin UT Austin and the US Air Force developed to teach kids about cybersecurity/awareness.

@dustychipura Statistical analysis as it applies to business analytics. It was hard to imagine how to use certain formal tools I learned in my graduate data analysis classes outside my niche discipline (oceanography), so I'm having so much fun relearning everything in a new context!

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@WokeLiving 'Hillendale Farms allegedly priced gouged more than four million cartons of eggs,' I think it's called Karma. And now every other egg farm will use this as a reason they need to raise prices again.

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@AdultingADHD Take my meds!

I guess that aligns with consistency, but this is a very specific consistent thing that I *need* to do and haven't been. I now keep them on my desk so I get a reminder every time I sit down to work/play.

Incredible Setup 🙌🏻 Perfect for the Nintendo Fans 🤩 by Alexander Girbinger

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@dustychipura I recently discovered my insurance covers mail order prescriptions, and I can get *90 days* NINETY DAYS of my meds at a time. And I don't have to worry about picking them up. Thank the Lord up above for small blessings!!!

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@toomanyspectra The xray... imagine *all* the photos that would have been posted... of *all* the things LOLOLOLOL

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

@GothHistorian This so much. All my teen's friends know that this is a safe space and they can call them (and me) if they *ever* need something and we'll do what we can. PlanB? I will buy that. Too drunk to drive and you feel unsafe? Gotchu Boo! Kicked out? I have a bed for you.

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

#neurodivergentsquad Updates! Thanks to ClipClop, I realized that me and my teen are #actuallyautstic (my 12yo is likely as well) and it's really helping me understand so many things that went wrong in grad school. Them #socialcues man... I missed that memo!

I guess it's time to wrap up this novella.

TL;DR Leaving my doctoral program was the exact thing I needed, and the universe delivered the job I didn't know I needed. 11/11

[Deb Gardner (she/ella) @DebDoesScience]

I've been quiet for a minute. It's time for an update. I did serious soul-searching and priorities restructuring with the fam after a *very* dark year; I decided it was in my best interest to leave a prestigious doctoral program and pursue a different career path. 1/n

Flexing my hours has come in handy since I've been sick for most of 2023 (4 weeks so far) and my supervisors have been super gracious about it. I haven't had to burn PTO so far! 10/n
