@dustychipura Statistical analysis as it applies to business analytics. It was hard to imagine how to use certain formal tools I learned in my graduate data analysis classes outside my niche discipline (oceanography), so I'm having so much fun relearning everything in a new context!

@dustychipura I recently discovered my insurance covers mail order prescriptions, and I can get *90 days* NINETY DAYS of my meds at a time. And I don't have to worry about picking them up. Thank the Lord up above for small blessings!!!

#neurodivergentsquad Updates! Thanks to ClipClop, I realized that me and my teen are #actuallyautstic (my 12yo is likely as well) and it's really helping me understand so many things that went wrong in grad school. Them #socialcues man... I missed that memo!

I've been quiet for a minute. It's time for an update. I did serious soul-searching and priorities restructuring with the fam after a *very* dark year; I decided it was in my best interest to leave a prestigious doctoral program and pursue a different career path. 1/n

Flexing my hours has come in handy since I've been sick for most of 2023 (4 weeks so far) and my supervisors have been super gracious about it. I haven't had to burn PTO so far! 10/n
