Check out this amazing leadership team of the award-winning #UnitedNations#SDG#OpenPedagogy Fellowship that we have worked with remotely for YEARS. This is the first time we meet in person. This is only half of the leadership team. Thanks @OpenEdGlobal Conference! #OEGlobal23

We're one week away from Turnitin's AI text detection tool going live on April 4th. It is being rolled out to all customers with no ability to opt out or even test the functionality first. Instructors will be exposed to this unproven functionality before we can even react.
And now some of these OpenStax textbooks are in paperback. Many students still like using the physical book so the @douglascollege bookstore will do print on demand for students @TheDSU6#OER#opentextbooks
A sad week for the #publicdomain in Canada as copyright #termextension comes into force. We can't help but think about missed opportunities. No new works will enter the public domain for the next 20 years. https://t.co/u744Vew64S
Improvements for H5P software devs coming.
The Core Team just hired an engineer to work on a new software development environment for H5P. The goal is to vastly improve the H5P software development experience and make it much easier to get started developing H5P content types.
As I start the Professional Program in Open Education at @KwantlenU, I thought I would bring this old blog back to life and share what I am working on. #OER#openeducation https://t.co/7YLLYhJ44P
Teaching with McGraw-Hill Connect this Fall? Don't be a Proctorio professor. Call your bookstore and ask them to remove "Proctorio Plus" from your textbook. This will save your students $15 each, spare them from warrantless academic surveillance, and earn their trust.
Job posting for @douglascollege Learning Designer. While I don't work in the same area as the LDs, I interact with them weekly. They are a great group. If you are someone who likes helping educators with #edtech, this might be for you! https://t.co/dHNkLKcRay
It's fantastic that this UBC and Douglas College #OER project that is creating open engineering mechanics problems also posted their awesome mechanics images on Wikimedia Commons: https://t.co/kvByDkiqBI
