@EAlbrecht77 A7: #20wildcardgpde @EAlbrecht77 @ktbhiggins The most important part of becoming a Wild Card is the engagement that happens as a result with your students. Learning takes on a whole new meaning when students are engaged!
@EAlbrecht77 A7: The most important part of being a Wild Card is how much it benefits students. By being a Wild Card students learn more, feel safe, and have an adult that they can count on. #20wildcardgpde
@rochelleklamm @EAlbrecht77 @K_T_Bee If at first we do not succeed - redo is always a great option :). We are not perfect therefore just keep on trying! #20wildcardgpde@K_T_Bee @EAlbrecht77
@EAlbrecht77 A7: The most important part of becoming a Wild Card is trusting in yourself and being you (the authentic YOU)! There is no one who can replicate who you are. Bring your expertise and experience into the classroom and it will be amazing. #20wildcardgpde
@EAlbrecht77 @K_T_Bee#20wildcardgpde Authenticity is huge. Constantly looking for ways to be innovative and more engaging. Ignoring the Joker. Building solid relationships with students. And of course, HAVING FUN! I know I can BE a WILD CARD!
@EAlbrecht77 A7: Putting yourself out there and giving it your all whether you are incorporating music, dancing, dressing up - have fun with those you teach as it will drive engagement. #20wildcardgpde @EAlbrecht77 @K_T_Bee
@ktbhiggins A6: To bring creativity we are going to do a minimum of 1 fun activity a week, whether its a game on zoom, dressing up, etc. #20wildcardgpde@K_T_Bee @EAlbrecht77
A5: Building community right away and showing positive support for each other. We talk about how we are all able to learn from each other. Modeling this is crucial for students to see as well! #20wildcardgpde @EAlbrecht77 @K_T_Bee
@EAlbrecht77 A5 in kindergarten we are all about the celebrations! We love to do class cheers to celebrate our classmates. It is fun (and interesting) to see the cheers they create. @EAlbrecht77 @K_T_Bee#20wildcardgpde
@astat32 @EAlbrecht77 Awesome idea. I have a positive bucket - that they can jot notes down and we read them on Fridays. Encourages them to be nice to others. #20wildcardgpde @EAlbrecht77 @K_T_Bee
@EAlbrecht77 A5: I always have an incentive to earn parties, fun activities etc that the students select. They receive puff balls in a jar for positive behavior/kindness and once full - we select a fun Friday activity & enjoy! #20wildcardgpde@K_T_Bee @EAlbrecht77
@ktbhiggins Q4: My why is the kids... be their consistency, their cheerleader, and their mentor. I want them to know that I'll be this for more than just that year, they'll always have me in their corner. This mindset everyday is what motivates me. @ealbrecht77 @K_T_Bee#20wildcardgpde
A4: My “why” continues to evolve as I get to know my students each year & understand what it is that they need from their teacher. I’m in this for the kids. To be their champion. To be their cheerleader. To be a stable figure in their life. To support them always. #20wildcardgpde
