@Mikey5Aces@Ducnghia16 It was said it was a ham sandwich but my father in law (the first police officer on site) gave testimony in court that the sandwich was uneaten.
@porpie52@Ducnghia16 She didnโt. My father in law was the police officer who testified that the sandwich was uneaten, proving she didnโt choke on it.
@ListerLawrence We test drove Evoque for a weekend then intended swapping it for a Discovery to compare. Didnโt happen as wing mirror had been damaged in the Discovery. Took over 2 months for it to be repaired and be ready. Ended up buying neither as it proved what weโd heard about JLS service.
@Green_Jade_@LeilaniDowding@asda Had a security check. Found I hadnโt scanned some sausages. Was pushing 84 yo Mum in wheelchair and doing her shopping too. I was given a full scan. Got home Mum checked her receipt. Iโd used her scanner and not mine to scan them. They refused to give me refund.
@dave_mcpartlin We were there this week watching our amazing granddaughter sadly taking part for the last time as sheโs Y6. Thankfully her sister is able to take over the reins next year as she will be in Y3 ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
@stomababe@asda Disabled toilets are often overused by those who donโt need them to save time, as theyโre closer, are kept unlocked or the door left open. I need them so I am not embarrassed by the noise/smell my bowel disability causes and can clean myself in private if Iโve had an accident.
@charliersmith1 Well done Charlie. Iโve never posted here before but quietly followed your path in life. You must be so proud of yourself for how far you have come in your journey. Take each day as it comes, but know the company are lucky to have you working for them. Good luck ๐
@MichaelRosenYes What amazes me is that these are often in disabled toilets. I have a bowel disability and the positioning (sometimes behind seat so you have to twist round) and type of dispensers can sometimes make my life hell if Iโve had an episode ๐คฌ
@DreyfusJames My 85 yo mother has been in/out of hospital since getting Urosepsis 4 years ago. She has said this many times. I try to reassure her, but sadly agree. The level of care given to geriatric patients by some medical staff is horrific ๐ข
@DrEilidhMaria Rang 111 as 82yo Mum felt โcystitisy/not rightโ. Apt made for โDrโ at A&E. Told sit in waiting room. Over 8 hours blood/urine dipped. Told vague diagnosis of an infection/??UTI. Discharged with antibiotics. 3 days later admitted with Urosepsis. Thankfully she survived.
@LittleHardman When I was training to be a teacher 24 years ago, I was told everything in education goes in a 30 year cycle, except country dancing. I can remember doing it in Primary school over 50 years ago. Its reintroduction is long overdue.
@MartinSLewis In addition to lack/zero internet access, having to ring a Helpline is also a barrier. I make phone calls on behalf of my elderly mother (wears hearing aids) as she cannot understand people. Surely HMRC has income info to identify those who qualify.
Took 84 yo (limited mobility) mum to see Hello Dolly last night. The accessibility access/facilities @LondonPalladium are 5 ๐. Amazing staff used ramps/lift to ensure Mum got to/from her seat, showed where disabled toilets were etc. Best theatre experience we have ever had ๐
