Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero.
Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone.
I hope this video clears that up.
60 days to get hired by american companies that are all laying off.
The studio is shutting down but honestly? This is a blessing. You dont belong here and your position shouldnt be standardized.
You email people in poorer countries to outsource work who get hired by others- thus creating a very “samey” look across games.
Your salary and probably several others could have gone to pay for 3d artist/rigger combo.
Yall even had a “director of office culture”. Thats 2 salaries right there that can afford a VERY GOOD artist.
“I shipped 30 skins”
We arent going to play resume games. You emailed people who did actual work. You sat in your AC waiting around.
Also, thats not impressive. Even 3D nft artists moved faster and made better looking crap.
when one of my friends gave this game a chance and streamed it to us, one (of the many) big pieces of criticism was that the character models looked like random rejected mobile game battle pass skins taken off the front page of artstation with no cohesive style, theme or personality, like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing
turns out that's pretty much exactly what happened, same as concord
"character outsource manager" is a dystopian hr corpo daycare bullshit job made to exploit cheap overseas labour
not only do you deserve to lose your job
your job shouldn't even exist
@nisabayon ZZZ's transformation going into season 2 is a prime example that the gacha industry is simply incompatible with the talent that's usually housed within those game studios
Nuno Loureiro was assassinated yesterday
He was a professor + the director of MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center
> 47 years old
> Studied nuclear fusion (= energy source of the Sun + stars) for 10 years at MIT
> His award-winning work focused on creating a virtually limitless, clean energy source on Earth - one that doesn’t produce carbon or radioactive waste (usual biproduct of fission reactors)
> His research was essentially a threat to companies in the energy sector (fossil fuels, wind, solar, etc)
> Nuno was vital to the development of fusion nuclear power plants, without him the path ahead is less clear + his death will set back the entire field
Nuno is not the first MIT fusion scientist to be brutally murdered, in 2004 Eugene Mallove was also shot in his home
I hope this opens eyes – there is an agenda at play
.@nickich assaulted me IRL the way he assaults his teammates LP gains in ranked. What can we do about this given riots stance on out of game conduct boss? @drewlevin
