Omg, I love it! I’m old, for old Florida! Damn it, what a spot and only 20 minutes to Key West 😫. I’d want a week, maybe two, It figures 😏. Isn’t there more money to be made with weekly vacations, managed by local property manager, or you play it safe with short term? So ‘waterfrontkeys’ is your property manager and they run a tight ship? Twenty or 22 years ago we rented Babe Ruth’s former beach house on Treasure Island, during the week 4th of July, booked it on VIRBO I think, the actual owner contacted us, it was like an interview. Honestly, it was one of my favorite vacations, just the fireworks going off out on a barge was spectacular and other fun stuff to do in and around that area, including taking in 3 Red Sox games in air conditioning! I have an Aunt and cousins that live in Melbourne, but honestly, Melbourne is like being home, no getaway vibes.

In Glocester from FM Global contaminated all the neighbors well water for miles. North Providence Industrial sites next to senior high rise housing, and of course the whole length of Allen’s Avenue, etc…

Isn’t this an interesting flower, took this pic today, I forgot the name of them 🙄. I planted one plant last Spring from a quart pot and it’s quadrupled in size this Spring and the 🐝 🐝 🐝 love it too. This is the 3rd Spring I’ve had the lilac, It started as a twig Spring of 2024 and this was the fist Spring it produced a single flower, can’t wait to see what next Spring brings…to Lyla the Lilac. The raccoon and opossum are killing me, squirrels 🐿️ too, they’re punks and love the bird feeder seed on the ground and digging my fresh mulch ☹️.

My contractor said to me this week, “it depends which way you’re coming from”, when I asked where’s the tile store. I said I’d be coming from Midland Mall and he knew exactly what I meant, no questions asked.

As you know, the State of Rhode Island ‘contractors’ are at it again with incompetency @GovDanMcKee, this time with the states own homegrown Beacon Mutual, as letters arrived in people’s mailboxes this month. Time for new Board of Directors over there Governor, new CEO? The policyholders in this tiny state are fed up.
What would @KenBlockRI or @GuckianRI or @HelenaBFoulkes do? How many times do the people in this state need to be hacked? Public, non-public employees and retirees alike, deserve better.

Exactly. Don’t forget unemployment tax, tangibles, sales and use and other costs to keep the doors open..payroll company, CPA, utilities, business property taxes, water, sewer and lately, a small business should have a tax attorney on speed dial bc the State of Rhode Island is broke and they’re out in force to get every nickel you actually…don’t owe.

After checking the outside property for fallen trees and crashed car, I literally had my son get the 8’ step ladder out of the garage and up a flight of stairs to check the attic, thought an airliner lost a piece of their plane since I’m in the direct line going NE in NProv before they make the turn back south to land in Warwick. That was something though wow, happy there’s not a hole in my roof.

2020 and 2023? So he got away “Scott free” in the 2020 case and continued his journey of abuse, yeah great work there 🙄. Why wasn’t he convicted the first time? Imagine a father having to tell his daughter that he was ‘abused’ by anyone, let alone another man s-xually. So sad, this story just ruined the rest of my afternoon. The nursing home staffing situation in state has been deplorable for over a decade now. One RN on duty and one CNA on a third shift most likely, should be a law against that on 3rd shift and no employee goes into rooms alone on 3rd shift. Sick MF 😡. Makes one wonder why the GA doesn’t put forth some good legislation for once.

I guess there’s still something to be thankful for, that 9 cities and towns still have a homestead exemption in Rhode Island, imagine only 9. That 20% exemption will reeeealy help with the 51% assessment increase for my property this year 😂. Something I rarely say 🫢…I’m not complaining about the increase.
