The indication (via other videos) is this is a man, his wife & children. Assuming this is accurate - I want to appeal directly to the lady & anyone else in a similar situation:

I’ve been the young child in this video, having to protect my Mum from my violent Dad. Multiple times over.

Damage done to children who are around violence & aggression like this runs so deep. Beyond the obvious physical risk - It will affect them, for life, on many levels. Not least, it can affect their ability to know what healthy relationships look like & it may subconsciously make them think violence/control/fear/conflict is normal. As they grow older, they may seek or create relationships which contain elements of this. Cycles may continue.

Children can’t make decisions about their home lives, they rely on adults to make the right ones.

Leaving is scary. You may not want to take your children from their parent. You may worry about breaking up a family unit & there will be a whole load more anxieties & practical challenges too. It is deeply overwhelming.

But leave, you must. If not for your own sake (you too deserve to be safe & well), then for your children.

I speak from experience when I tell you there is a whole different life that can open up to you…One where you don’t fear hearing the key in the door. One where you don’t tread on eggshells. One where your children don’t have to be on edge, or ready to defend you. One where you’re not watching how much drink etc someone has, for fear of the impact….

No child deserves to live in fear or high-alert & as adults we must do everything in our power to protect them, from all harms, including those at home.

Organisations such as Women’s Aid, Refuge and Gingerbread can help.

But the first step, is to make the decision not only to leave, but to never ever go back. Once you make that decision, reach out for help and take it one day at a time.

I hope you’ve fully recovered from this assault. Next time, I fear you may not be so lucky…

Perhaps I’m totally wrong with this, perhaps it’s not as it seems. I’d truly be delighted to be wrong. But I watched those kids on this video & it deeply upset me because I recognise their embedded actions & reactions…Hence this message.

Last month she paid them to leave. This month she's charging them to stay. Both sold to you as a win.

She's the face and behind her sits a machine that's been robbing us blind for years, no matter who stands at that podium. There's a number in this post they want you to cheer for and a machine behind it they're praying you won't look at.

Last month she paid migrants up to forty grand to LEAVE and called it a saving. This month she's charging them ten grand to STAY and calls it fairness. Same woman. Same trick. Just pointed the other way.

That ten grand? Their OWN figures say only about thirteen in a hundred refugees ever earn enough to pay it. Eighty seven out of a hundred will never hand back a penny.

It was never built to be paid. It was built to be POSTED. A round number for a press release, so they look tough while nothing moves and watch what they left OUT. The bit with actual teeth. Pay every penny back or you never settle here. That's the real rule. Funny how that didn't make the post.

It gets worse, because they built the trap themselves. They ban you from working while you wait. Leave you with nothing. Then the second you're let in, they bill you for the help they forced on you and post it like this so YOU clap for it.

This is the same woman who stood at a podium and admitted, in her own words, that here refugee status is permanent from day one. She told us the door doesn't shut. Now she posts this to look like she's the one shutting it.

By 2023/24 the cost of housing and supporting one asylum seeker had soared to around forty one thousand pounds a year, mostly down to hotels. The accommodation contracts have tripled to over fifteen billion pounds and the man who owns one of these firms went from running a caravan park to a billionaire off the back of it. He owns more than ninety nine percent of it. That company pulls in nearly five million pounds of our money a DAY. Not a year. A day.

Mayfair. Monaco. Porsches. All of it paid for by a system that puts the people inside in rooms inspectors called decrepit, with bedbugs and no heating. The worse the conditions, the fatter the profit and he made so much that his own firm smashed straight through the profit limit the government set it, and got told to hand thirty two million back. They put a cap on it and it still couldn't hold him. The contracts roll on regardless.

Ten grand, that most will never pay, against all of that. That's not fairness, thats a number held up in one hand so you don't see the fortune walking out the other.

Forty grand to go. Ten grand to stay. Pakistan quietly left off her crackdown list. A new headline every month, and underneath every one of them, the same machine, running exactly as it always has.
