Advertised as "Honey Oat Cookies"
On checking the small print on the wrapper: you will find that oatmeal is only 13%, the rest is Maida.
Naam ke vaste "butter" but the actual cooking medium is unhealthy & cheap palm oil.
Honey is only 2%.
The rest is "invert Sugar", which means "a liquid sweetener made by breaking down table sugar ..."
Ingredients as provided on the wrapper in very tiny print:
Refined wheat flour (Maida), Sugar, Edible vegetable oil (Palmolein), Oatmeal (13%), Coconut powder, Milk solids, Butter, Honey (2%), Custard powder, Invert syrup, Emulsifier (INS 322, INS 471, INS 472 (E)), Raising agents (INS 503 (I), INS 500 (II)), Iodised salt.
Notice the number of chemicals added to the healthy-sounding "Honey Oat Biscuits"!
