I have a separate basement entry. There are stairs going up inside but thats mostly for grandkids visits to help or do Gammie time. We planned this far in advance tho after I and my siblings having to travel to care for my parents. I decided then my daughter wouldn’t have to do that.

@cutelipssx I bought a house with an inlaw suite. Daughter & family live upstairs, I downstairs. I pay mortgage and she inherits house when I’m gone. Thus I am taking care of and as is she. Win/win.

@CitizenFreePres For everyone saying she locked her knees, I’m sure, as a member of the honor guard, and the military in general, the “do not lock your knees” rule is drilled in to her. Can’t see a member of the honor guard doing that.
