Last night, I had the privilege of attending the 2024 Elevate International Leadership Reception on The Hill: Elevate Excellence, led by the incredible Solange Tuyishime Keita, President and CEO of this transformative organization.
Leadership can often feel like a 24/7 responsibility, but we can't lead effectively if we don't take time to recharge. While the demands of the role may not pause, carving out moments for self-care helps us maintain the clarity and resilience needed to support our teams.
December can be joyful, but it also brings grief and reflection, especially after loss or major life changes. If traditions no longer feel right, allow yourself to adapt or reimagine them. Healing comes in honoring where you are now.

Last night, we had the privilege of gathering at the beautiful Aiana Restaurant Collective to honour the incredible individuals and organizations that make up The Ottawa Cancer Foundation's Network of Champions.
The recent CEO Talk featuring NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and Ottawa Senators Owner Michael Andlauer was an important event for the Ottawa business community, highlighting the economic and cultural significance of Ottawa's NHL presence.
I am grateful to be at the Storytelling Conference in New Mexico, immersed in insights from presenters and storytellers who know the power of a well-told story. This experience has deepened my appreciation for storytelling an art form and a bridge across all aspects of life.
