I feel very hestitant about the term “random acts of kindness” as a way of describing the neighbourly responses so evident at the moment. Seem more like “rooted acts of kindness” to me, springing forth from a nascent culture of kindness. We’re seeing the invisible become visible.
We really need your help - we have housed around 200 households in temporary accommodation and now our focus is trying to find everyone homes of their own. We can help with viewings, benefit submissions etc. Click on link for more info & contact details. Thank you
Keep up the great work. I have had so many chats with family/friends who have randomly said they have had a call from the hub & how thankful they were & how lovely and caring you all were. Knowing someone is there & kind words make all the difference in these challenging times.
While all volunteering is v. important & of immense value-it’s important 2 emphasis that there’s a difference between neighbour to neighbour civic action & volunteering. Hence the key isn’t volunteering alone, it’s community building, of which volunteering is a subset #COVID19

Calling all #health and #socialcare organisations in the South West: are there practitioners in your team who are eager to explore innovation happening elsewhere? We're offering grants to enable them to explore - and bring back ideas to our region. Visit https://t.co/CvMPN021dy
"Identified gaps in training/dev within analytical teams and the infrastructure to disseminate results". Organisations have to get behind a better way of using data to improve, from execs to roots; Central gov and regulators need to embrace that ethos too.
