1. Resilience. Rejection is part of the job. It gets easier. It’s not that your work isn’t good it’s that it isn’t a good fit.

I’m pausing writing my book for a while because I feel like I’m getting nowhere and the rejections are getting me down. Instead, I’m concentrating on #shortstories . There are lots of amazing competitions and submission deadlines coming up.
