I think it's smart that WWE keeps a working relationship with AAA. It gives fans easy crossover moments without needing to follow a whole separate promotion.
What do we even call this - incompetence or indifference?
People fell in love with Solo Sikoa. So much so that a couple of weeks ago, when he was in the ring with Roman Reigns, the crowd was actually cheering for Mr. Sikoa. For a couple of weeks, he was the hottest, most entertaining and most charismatic wrestler in the company - and he’s only 33.
When you catch lightning in a bottle like that, you do EVERYTHING you can to keep it. Wins, promos, stories, TIME, FOR FK’S SAKE, ON TV! But no. Solo has practically disappeared and gone right back to being an NPC. The current creative regime might genuinely hold the record for wasted opportunities.
Is this another genius piece of long-term booking that I’m just too dumb to understand, or what the hell is this?
Now THIS is the Damian Priest we all know and love.
A tiny vignette, barely a minute long, but there’s SO much life and energy in it. Brutality, aggression, that incredible Punisher vibe Damian is supposed to have. And just as importantly, you actually believe what he’s saying. It feels real. He’s not a villain because he was born that way - he’s a villain because he’s tired.
I’m praying to every God out there that Damian actually gets his spot and this doesn’t turn into a heel turn just for the sake of a heel turn.
A move to Raw, maybe? Or a U.S. Title feud with Trick? What would you like to see from this reborn Priest?
@eren_v_ace Same here, I never really felt like that was the end for her. If she’s actually thinking about one more run, I’m definitely not complaining.
WAIT… DID TRISH STRATUS JUST TEASE A WWE RETURN?
She was asked about stepping back into the ring, and her answer was NOT a straight no.
Listen to what she says at the end… 😳
Did Naomi’s explosive athleticism or Natalya and Carmella’s tactical teamwork shape the momentum of this match more?
Naomi’s sheer physical dominance and agility stole the spotlight, but Natalya and Carmella showed that relentless pressure and opportunistic tags can shift control in a split second.
Randy Orton was doing in 2009 what people praise Roman Reigns for doing today.
The difference?
Orton never got the same freedom to build his character around it.
So why does Roman get praised for it, while Orton gets remembered as simply ‘The Legend Killer’?
The funny thing is, Sami actually told the truth - that title in his hands really IS a symbol of hope for the fans.
Before he won it, it felt like world titles were reserved for the golden boys and creative’s favorites. Like we’d never get a real surprise again. Sami changed that. He made it feel possible that anyone can become champion if they bust their ass and keep delivering on screen.
So tell me I’m wrong - don’t we owe Sami a thank you?
Superstars: Edge & Lita
Moment: The 2006 "Live Sex Celebration" on WWE Raw
⍟ WAS THIS RISK-TAKING 2006 SEGMENT THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL TOP-RATED MOMENT IN MONDAY NIGHT RAW HISTORY?
Fresh off his dramatic Money in the Bank cash-in at New Year's Revolution, Edge and Lita pulled in a massive 5.2 television rating with their notorious ring celebration. The segment cemented Edge as the ultimate main-event villain and pushed the boundaries of live television during the Ruthless Aggression Era.
Did this shocking segment mark the final extreme boundary of WWE's television-rating boundaries before moving to a PG era?
Who remembered this iconic WWE Attitude/Ruthless Aggression Era moment?
Looking back at early 2000s WWE, matches like this Playboy Evening Gown/Gimmick match highlight how heavily women's wrestling relied on entertainment and sex appeal before evolving into the athleticism driven Women's Evolution era.
@eren_v_ace Yeah, I feel you. That segment was hard to watch but at the same time, you can’t say it didn’t get people talking. I guess that was the whole point.
If I have to watch Alexa Bliss get pinned one more time, I think I’m going to explode with rage.
I genuinely don’t understand WTF is going on. It feels like someone backstage forgot who the hell Alexa Bliss is. Tons of charisma, endless charm, in-ring talent, a huge legacy - a LEGIT star. And somehow they keep using her like she’s just some random wrestler.
After her return at the Royal Rumble, and especially after that huge crowd reaction, it felt like Lexi’s future had never looked brighter. But nope, she’s taken so many pinfalls that if they had calories, she’d be Big Show by now.
Alexa Bliss deserves better! Fix this!
