An investigation into non-stun halal abattoirs has found appalling levels of cruelty, causing them "immense pain, fear & distress”. Sheep were slammed into concrete floors, & played recordings of wolves as they were dying.

Some took 4 minutes to die after having their throats cut & dismembered alive.

A food standards inspector, no doubt not wanting to be called an Islamophobe, watched on & failed to act.
