Latest Research on the Best Foods for Babies
According to the latest recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and other health experts, the best nutrition for babies begins with exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. At around six months, babies should start eating soft, nutritious complementary foods while continuing breastfeeding. Research highlights the importance of iron-rich foods, such as well-cooked eggs, soft meat, fish without bones, and mashed lentils, for healthy growth and brain development. Other excellent choices include mashed bananas, avocados, sweet potatoes, carrots, and iron-fortified infant cereals. A variety of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and whole grains helps provide the vitamins, minerals, and energy babies need.

Recent evidence-based guidance also emphasizes introducing different healthy foods gradually and offering common allergenic foods, such as well-cooked eggs and smooth peanut butter thinned into a safe consistency, when babies are developmentally ready for solids, usually around six months. Whole nuts, hard foods, and other choking hazards must be avoided. Do not add salt or sugar to baby food, and avoid honey before 12 months because of the risk of infant botulism. Breast milk or infant formula remains essential during the first year, and ordinary cow’s milk should not replace it as the main drink before 12 months. Always supervise babies while eating and consult a pediatrician if your baby has severe eczema, known food allergies, or special nutritional needs.
Peter Lynch, the man Time magazine called America's number one money manager, walked away in 1990 from the job that made him famous. At the very top of his game, he left by choice.
In the video below, he explains why he quit after 13 years of running Fidelity's Magellan Fund in Boston, a top-ranked general equity mutual fund.
He said he adored the job.
He also said he left home at 6 in the morning and got back at 7 at night, six days a week. On top of that, he traveled 14 days a month. He called it just too much.
His kids were getting older, and older kids need more than a bedtime story.
He could afford to stop, because he had already made enough money. That meant he did not have to give up his family or his outside activities.
So he cut his week from 80 or 90 hours to 40 or 50. Now he makes breakfast and lunch for the kids and does spelling and Spanish words with them. His wife handles the math and science.
Then he goes to an office every morning, because he says you have to go somewhere to do something. Most of his time goes to charity work, including inner city schools, libraries and housing.
"I said that's it, I can't take it." You can hear him say it in the video below.
Few people at the top of any field get to choose their hours. He chose his.
Top job in your field or your evenings back. Which one do you pick?

I did a training flight yesterday, slowly getting back into flight sim stuff again. For now I've been flying the FBW A320 but I want to eventually get the Fenix A320 family ( I want the whole pack ). ✈️
Data & AI careers get much easier when you know what to learn next.
The skills overlap, but the learning path changes depending on the role you want.
Here’s a simple roadmap for four of the fastest-growing career paths:
→ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁
Start with Excel, SQL, statistics, and data cleaning. Then move into Power BI/Tableau, Python, visualization, and business analytics before building real-world projects and a strong portfolio.
→ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁
Build strong Python, SQL, statistics, and probability fundamentals. Progress into machine learning, feature engineering, deep learning, model evaluation, projects, and deployment.
→ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿
Master SQL and Python first. Then learn databases, data modeling, ETL/ELT, pipelines, Apache Spark, Kafka, cloud platforms, and data warehousing.
→ 𝗔𝗜 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿
Learn Python, machine learning, and deep learning before moving into Transformers, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, AI agents, LLM APIs, evaluation, guardrails, and LLMOps.
The goal is not to learn everything at once.
Pick one career path, follow the skills in sequence, build projects around each stage, and gradually turn those projects into a portfolio employers can evaluate.
A clear roadmap can save months of jumping between random courses and tools.
Which path are you currently working toward: Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or AI Engineer?
I’d rather cheat on my business than cheat on my family.
There will always be another meeting, dinner or business event. The amount of time I have with my kids at home is pretty limited.
These days, I’m much more comfortable saying no.

Pyro and Ambear hunt a corrupted person in a mana cave, and in the process they unlock a shared damaging spell! Unbeknownst to Ambear, Pyro accidentally feeds on her mana after Orchid kills the corrupted person -🍄
Otsumemoria! I did a lot of ghosts and tricking. Dragon ended up hurting her voice a little bit though since I didn't realize this game had a visual novel worth of text. I had fun though.
I'm resting and making myself tea.
