The pandemic changed us and everything around us. There is so much that we couldn't do, so much that we couldn't stop from happening, so many plans that got cancelled, and so much that we lost.

It gave us happy and sad days. Gave us anxiety, restless days, sleepless night.

The administration failed to do anything for the people living in Silchar. 6 days and the water level is same, I don't see anything that was done to divert the water.
All that we got was two bottles of water and a packet of biscuit for 5 people.

Everyone's life is at risk and I can not relay on the administration. It's a scary place to be.

Why do we romantisize rural life?
I have been asking this to myself from a long time now. Being an active citizen and try to contribute in my own way, I constantly ask myself if what i am doing enough or not.
We live in an unfair world.

My visit to Kathputli Colony made me see that unfair world clearly. I was overwhelmed by emotions which made me feel helpless.
I saw a life where people wanted the basics - a clean surrounding, sewage set up, children dreaming to go to school, women praying to have safer home
