Ending the year with the “how” instead of the “what”…the journey of learning and growing continues! Thanks 2nd Grade Team @HolleyElem for sticking together through this crazy year! Sometimes that’s what it is all about!
It’s vital 4 educators 2 acknowledge that DOK & Bloom’s taxonomy levels have less impact/meaning if we ignore the levels in Maslow’s hierarchy of need. We have 2 support each student’s safety, security & wellness while we also prioritize standards & ask gr8 questions #mschat
@cultofpedagogy Yes! Start with the anticipatory set! The bridge to objective (or as many teachers now have to show the “I can” statement) should be followed after! Thank you for this reminder!
As you approach the finish line, be encouraged that some of your students will look back fondly on their time in your class and remember your jokes, laughter, storiers, smile, kindness, encouragement, corrections, and even some of your lessons. End with gratitude.
