We live in a world that hates Christ and those who believe in Him, but that's to be expected. Just as He was persecuted, so will we be.
Consider me a Jaden Ivey fan.
Iowa has seen a similar movie a lot this season. A slow start, used to lead to a close loss.
But the postseason has been different. The Hawkeyes flexed their muscles late on Nebraska.
Among the team's leaders in their biggest game, a freshman, Tate Sage.

Doubted, and a new foundation. That's the theme of Year 1 with Ben McCollum for Iowa.
A historic season, and a fun one to cover. Thanks to everyone for following along. Need the new schedule to release to start the countdown clock asap.

Freshman Tate Sage had his twin brother in the stands watching in-person for the first time this season. He put together a career game at the right time in the win over Nebraska.

Brendan Hausen, who has taken on a mentor role with Tate Sage, discussed the freshman’s 19 points and 8 rebounds in the Sweet 16:
“I knew he could do it. … He’s called me on off days to go shoot. You don’t see that from freshman. He’s a winner. … I don’t know how so many college coaches missed out on him. He’s gonna be a pro.”
The Tate Sage Game™️ in the Sweet 16 for Iowa:
• 19 pts (career-high)
• 6-10 FG
• 4-7 3pt
• 8 reb
The 19 points matches the MOST by an Iowa freshman in an NCAA Tournament game in program history.
Clutch when it counted most.
