@drdagly Enjoy your time on the Camino! I did 150km of the Portuguese way back in 2019 as a fundraiser for the Canadian Liver Foundation. The conversations with strangers as to why they do the Camino is the best part of the walk (as is ignoring day to day 🐂 💩/the tire fire that is AB)

Guys, the reason they changed to Edmonton Elks is so people would stop saying that former name!

Why? Because, while not unanimous, many deem it harmful to Indigenous people.

So please stop saying it, stop abbreviating it. And returning to the name would be ridiculous. #yeg

The results are WOW.
We knew living organ donors saved lives, but I'd never realized the stats were this dramatic.
There aren't enough deceased donor organs for everyone, and living donors make a massive measurable difference.
