I am honored to receive the 2023 Doctoral Interventionist Award for my research on improving the writing and self-determination skills of youth with or at-risk for emotional and behavioral disorders in restrictive education settings!
To set the stage in the exhibit, to remind us we are a community, the artist used WRITING. Visitors write on the walls so we are greeted by others immediately upon walking in, even if alone. The power of #writing; it transcends time.

I now live mostly in the cognitive theory side of #writing research, but the diverse approaches & thoughts represented at @wrab2023 has watered my anthropology roots. I'm sure this conference will bear intellectual fruit like no other. So thankful. #Norway
