Leslie you just admitted that your constituents are struggling.
This is not a flex. This is admission of terrible policies that made Canada give tax payers it down money back to afford essentials.
A GST rebate in a terrible economy is not a sign of a Succesful government.. it's an absolute sign of failure..
Feds just gave people their own money back to them...
And people are cheering this as a win...🤦♂️
If you get a rebate in a success economy. Then you're with the right government..

Max Crepeau, back home, sheds a tear, too 🥲
2015: 3.9 million Canadians (11.8% of population) lived in “food-insecure”
households.
TODAY: 9.8 million do (24%)
2015: 852,137 food bank visits in March of that year
TODAY: 2.2 million in March 2026
But clap yourself silly for your “top-up payments” for 12 million Canadians.
The Prime Minister billed taxpayers:
$18,000 for salmon.
$4,213 for crème brûlée.
$3,800 for chocolate.
$593 for luxury Normandy butter.
On Only 3 Flights last year.
You get to enjoy the foodbank while Mark Carney gets Normandy Butter
Mark Carney's Liberals voted in favour of tripling the streaming tax just a few days ago, rejecting Conservatives arguments of harms to consumers.
Now Carney reversed the tax hike and is stealing CPC arguments after Trump protested.

Mark Carney’s last three international trips reportedly racked up nearly $195,000 in aircraft catering costs:
United Kingdom: $52,610
Vatican/Rome: $93,780
Brussels/Netherlands: $49,043
The majority of Canadians are cutting back on groceries yet somehow Ottawa must have mistaken taxpayers for a corporate expense account.
Carney keeps telling Canadians that we need to sacrifice, but somehow the sacrifice never seems to reach his seat on his plane while his sipping his Dom Pérignon and eating his Beluga Caviar.
Just one thought has become obvious, if every single thing under the Carney government that has happened, had happened under PM Chrystia Freeland, if an election wasn’t due until…say, Fall 2027 - the Liberals would be polling at about 12 percent. We all know this. That’s how fooled people were, w/ some still being that way. Imagine Freeland explaining this.
The Prime Minister of Canada - at a Jewish synagogue, sent a message to those slinging hatred, chaos, & unfettered antisemitism in our streets, that he won’t do anything tangible about it.
The message was more to tell THEM he values their votes than it was to tell the Jewish community he finally has their back.
He’s doing what he thinks is electoral math & it will burn him.
While partisans point to @PierrePoilievre's response as disdain for the press, what they're not acknowledging is that he answers EVERY question thrown at him.
The same can most certainly not be said of the notoriously dismissive Prime Minister Carney.
Here’s the thing about Carney and his in-flight catering.
Nobody expects Carney to eat shitty Tim Hortons on the plane, but show some respect to Canadians.
When times are tough, and you’re asking everyone to make sacrifices, set the example. That’s what good leaders do - they lead by example.
Carney eating caviar and drinking fresh squeezed everything (including apple juice) is just so disrespectful.
