@Evolving_Moloch my strong sense is that contemporary anthropologists are largely not creating these kinds large-scale databases, and almost everything new i see comes out of economics or poli sci
my free year of cursor ended, so I cancelled, and they sent me a link where I was able to record a message to an AI explaining that I got free Claude Code instead and gave me a $25 gift card, so basically was paid $25 to use Cursor for free for a year, great stuff
@aliceisplaying Spent a summer in Kanda/Ueno and loved it because I love small cafes, older restaurants, the vibe is really nice, great running. But usually I would recommend people stay on the Shibuya side
@aliceisplaying If you want 下町, Ueno or Kanda. Otherwise, depending on budget, just south of Shibuya toward 中目黒 or 三軒茶屋 is a cool student-y area, etc. 下北沢 I would anti-recommend as being too far and having lost some of its charm relative to other similar places.
