His eyes pan down to the hand he offered. Link extends his own and gives him a firm handshake before releasing the other's hand and letting his own drop down to his side.

Bass offers a hand at the very least, trying to be courteous.

When Link looks down and presses his fingers to the neck of the stranger, his lips purse and he blinks a few times.
"...I'm alive. I'll save you the trouble."
He rolls to the side and gets himself off the ground, wiping his armor off and looking around curiously.
His ears perk up, and the hero drags his eyes towards the direction of the sudden disturbance. He gets onto his feet, leaving the comfort of his grass patch, and begins to cautiously approach whatever lies in wait for him.
As he drew closer, Link spots what looks like a body. He
All peace must end in some sort of bullshit, and bullshit is what Link will find as a hole opens up a few yards away and into the sky, dropping what looks like a body off that lands with a thud, and then closes once more.
So much for his grass-laying plans.
Today is a good day. Warm, sunny, not a single cloud in the sky, and most importantly, no conflict.
Link rests in a verdant field, soaking in the sun's warm rays and taking this time of peace to rest.
