Your wallet is your API key. We built it this way so DecentraMind never has to hold a secret of yours. Here's how it works.

Creating a key means your wallet signs one plain-text message. The message names the site, the Solana cluster, the program ID and an epoch number, starting at 0.

The key is that signature, packed:

sk-dm-<epoch>-<base64url(public key ‖ signature)>

Ed25519 can't recover the signer from a signature, so the key carries your 32-byte public key next to the 64-byte signature. On every request the Worker rebuilds the message, verifies the signature and resolves the key to your wallet address and its API balance.

What that design gives you:

→ No account, no email, no password. The server never stores keys. The only thing it keeps per wallet is the newest epoch it has seen.
→ Rotation without support tickets. Sign the next epoch, and once the new key reaches the server, every older key gets 401 key_rotated.
→ A leaked key can spend API balance and nothing more. It's a signature over a fixed message, not a private key: it can't sign a transaction or touch anything in your wallet. Rotate and it's dead.
→ No replay across sites. The message is bound to this domain, cluster and program, so a signature made for anything else isn't a key here.

Every response also carries an X-Decentramind-Balance header, so your code always knows what's left.

First, credit where it’s due: $ORBIO pioneered the model we’re building on. Stakers earn the credits, an on-chain order book sets the price, and they’re spent as an API key. It’s a great idea, and we’re proud to bring it to Solana.

New fees are converted every 10 minutes for the first rounds, then every hour.
