@FetchTeach@FetchRewards@amazon Most of the items on my list are Spanish versions of popular books I have in my classroom library. π
β‘οΈ Fun fact- when bilingual students increase proficiency in their first language, it helps them improve in English, too! ππ»

@chipgaines Iβm always trying to add more relevant and diverse books to my classroom library. This year it will be more important than ever as we will have limited library access π https://t.co/crlPHhdrhP
@chrissyteigen You are amazing!! π Im hoping to add more diverse books to my middle school classroom library- especially with limited library access due to COVID π https://t.co/crlPHgVPTf
@JulieSiegle I was really intrigued by our discussions of mental health. I will be keeping an extra eye out for those kids who are sad but don't know why. π
@JulieSiegle The brain development discussions were so interesting! I am always amazed with the intricacies of the brain and how it is so resilient, but so fragile. I can connect this with some of my students who have experienced trauma and how that has impacted their brain development.
@JulieSiegle The tech piece stuck with me, too! I can't imagine being a middle schooler and trying to navigate the world of technology and social media! Especially when they are wanting to assert their independence and make their own choices. I would have gotten myself in SO much trouble! π¬
@JulieSiegle I am also orange. I think it helps me teach because I care about my students and want them to be successful. I think it gets in my way because I want my students to do well, and it frustrates me when they don't work to their full potential.
