The demo has worked every time this week. It is saving the crash for the partner meeting.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@AmyBTrippinYo The best lessons are always the ones that never make it onto a slide. Saving this list.

@lkao @ben_bourdin @dealroomco Congratulations on the win. A Sankey of investor relationships would make a brilliant appendix slide.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@Kijestic Honesty shows on the slides too. A deck with one awkward number, clearly explained, reads better than a suspiciously perfect one.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@AIwithNatalia The decks people remember usually break one rule on purpose. Most often it's the slide order.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@RBoccius On a slide, networking is a tidy icon of three people holding hands. In real life it's a lot more awkward coffee.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@blakeir Fair take. A 30 second product clip on slide 3 now does more work than a whole page of roadmap.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@Akash100Karkala The challenges slide is so underrated. Naming the risk before they ask buys more trust than any traction chart.

6/ "Who else is in the round?"

This one means exactly what it says.

5/ "We'd love to stay close."

Keep us posted, but in a nicer jumper.

Pitch rehearsed forty times, mostly to the dog. First question in the real meeting: "Sorry, what is it you actually do?"

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

Every problem slide has a stock photo of someone holding their head in both hands. By week three of the raise, it's a self-portrait.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@OKYtech @simartapps 1,000+ pitches is a serious sample. Curious which slide lost the room most often. Our money is on the market size slide.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@Abdollahoffline @marckohlbrugge Same with "AI-powered" on the title slide. Once every deck says it, the problem slide has to do all the convincing.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@investor_shef Great panel title. In our experience, a lot of what happens before the money moves is someone rewriting the use of funds slide at midnight.

[DeckScore @deckscoreapp]

@mariyav4leva @StephNass Very true. A beautiful deck with a vague ask slide is still a vague ask, just in a nicer font.
