Look closely at the wording.
A policy claim about Kerala is deliberately contrasted with “temples” not general spending, not all religious places just temples. That selective highlight nudges people to link one religion with being anti-progress.
That’s not neutral info, that’s narrative framing designed to divide.

Why stop at Jawaharlal Nehru?
Accountability shouldn’t have an expiry date or a favorite target.
If past decisions are still affecting India today, then every leader should be open to scrutiny whether it’s Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, or anyone else who held power.
History isn’t a fan club it’s a report card. Some decisions helped the nation, others caused long-term damage. From corruption scandals to national security failures, every era has its share of mistakes. Ignoring them just because time has passed doesn’t make the consequences disappear.
If policies from decades ago are still hurting the country, then questioning those decisions isn’t “living in the past” it’s demanding responsibility for the present.
Accountability isn’t about one surname, one party, or one decade.
It’s about impact. And impact doesn’t retire.
People talk like Narendra Modi personally wakes up and switches on pollution in Delhi every morning like there’s a secret “SMOG” button somewhere. Come on.
Delhi’s air crisis didn’t start with one government. It’s been building for decades vehicles, dust, industry, stubble burning, and geography. Yes, weak action in earlier years made it worse. If serious steps had been taken on time, things wouldn’t have escalated this much.
Even Arvind Kejriwal has promised clean air for years. Before that, pollution still existed. So clearly, no single leader “created” this.
Fixing the environment is slow work. Demand action, but drop the drama this is a long repair job, not a switch.
