Prof. Kithure Kindiki, the Minister for Interior has been my friend since he decided to leave teaching in Moi University & moved to Nairobi to practice law. I have never met or spoken to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. I have told Prof. Kindiki that I look forward to his Presidency in Kenya. But I am no supporter of undermining a President or Deputy President in office. It is so KANUesgue! I would prefer Prof. Kindiki to wage a covert insurgency war to make sure he replaces DP Gachagua in 2027. Overt insurgency war to undermine & remove DP Gachagua by any means before 2027 will irrevocably rupture Kikuyu and Meru Nations irregardless of the false bravado of Kimani Ichung’wah. Open political war like gladiator games, kills both wrestlers or if one survives, he has mortal wounds. Prof. Kindiki is young & a scholar … The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli, The Art of War by Sun Tzu & The Republic by Plato will be good read for him. Prof, time is on your side. Tread cautiously.

US has since end of WW2 been built on skilled expatriates from Europe, then later from Asia. Now Europe, Germany included wants to revive its stalled economy with skilled Labour from Africa. Kenyans who are not graduate aerospace engineers shouldn’t even think they will be given visas to go to Germany. We can only develop Kenya by welcoming heavy industries investment as Vietnam & Thailand have done. Exporting Kenyans is self-defeatist & own-goal divestment.

Going forward and looking far into 2027 and beyond, the political elite in Kenya should now realise that the DEVELOPMENT PARADIGM of "we will build roads, hospitals, schools, dams...etc" is officially dead as a dodo. The DEVELOPMENT PARADIGM of more dams, roads, etc have been milked dry/exhausted and betrayed by UNFULFILLED PROMISES of 10 years of President Uhuru and 5 years of President Ruto. Elections from 2027 onwards will be won/lost on governance issues, anti-corruption strategies, asset recovery from government employees, constitutionalism and rule of law, police reforms, judiciary reforms...etc. Landcruisers and prados will be replaced by laptops, smartphones and town hall meetings.
