@kkondik @StatisticUrban My cop-out take is that WY and KY are a two-state "appalachian" region but I'd put them in the midwest before I would the south. At the very least that's closer to their population centers.

Largest population centers are all on or near to the midwest too

…so what exactly is the appeal of the next gen supposed to be when:
1) The current gen barely has any games
2) You won’t own anything you buy
3) It costs a mortgage payment

Xbox is reportedly planning for their next console to release in late 2028.

Microsoft is internally projecting that the console could cost consumers between $1,200 and $1,800, unless they decide to subsidize the cost.

@DeltaPoliticsUS CA has had years of this system and in DvD races Rs just don't vote or vote idiosyncratically.

[Eric Cunningham @decunningham2]

This could have substantial ramifications.

Based off primary votes, Scott Brown in 2010 would not have made the top four.

Republicans could essentially be locked out of many Massachusetts elections.

New York Times says that Nintendo is weak for making Super Mario 64 and that they are squandering the power of the Nintendo 64 by making something so lame like a Mario platformer.

@VelvetBarstool @charlescwcooke You have a greater chance of being struck by lightning in the parking lot than you do of having anything resembling an injury in one of these coasters.

Big deal for this and future admins. Voters demonstrably appear to hate inflation more than basically anything.

[CNBC @CNBC]

The latest inflation data is expected to show price increases are accelerating https://t.co/APeX50gh8F

@bdquinn Drawing Louisville like that is a choice, because the Louisville metro isn't that blue. These five counties would have enough people for 2 reps in this 9-member map but only backed Harris by 3 points

[Eric Cunningham @decunningham2]

Really grim stuff here.

Thankfully Laika is owned by the Knight family, who have an unlimited amount of money and seems to be more or less okay with keeping a studio like Laika alive

Only one stop-motion film in history - Chicken Run - has grossed even $200 million worldwide.

Unfortunately it’s just very hard to get people to go watch stop-motion films.

@Michaelrbn Trump would net ~33k votes in Wisconsin and lose ~33 margin in Michigan.

Wouldn't impact 2024 or 2016 at all, but Trump would have won Wisconsin in 2020.

[Eric Cunningham @decunningham2]

Delmarva would lowkey be a fairly competitive swing state.

Recent presidential results:
2024: Harris+3.5
2020: Biden+7.7
2016: Clinton+0.4

Dems win it by about 5 points on average most cycles.

[Joe “Elite” Flacco @joeflaccoburner]

the asteroid that formed the Chesapeake Bay gave us the most obvious natural borders for a US State in history, and colonists still cut this into three states

Unify Delmarva!

@torisu845 @SpiderLynk @ShinMarvelous @ChenG03721819 What Luke did was the equivalent to putting your hand on the holster of a gun, which you might instinctively do if you get a vision showing the person in front of you will be responsible for billions of deaths.

Fans also incorrectly attributed Kylo Ren’s “last the past die” line to Rian Johnson.

Ren is the villain of the movie! He’s also wrong and is depicted as having crossed a moral event horizon by the end.

[Kiel @KielJohal]

The big lie about The Last Jedi, from fans and haters alike, is that Rian Johnson wanted to subvert expectations. Every decision he made was a natural continuation of each character's arc, based on their flaws.
It is just that fans created baseless theories after it was written.

[Eric Cunningham @decunningham2]

@torisu845 @SpiderLynk @ShinMarvelous @ChenG03721819 Yeah death is quite literally virtually meaningless for a Jedi lol

[Eric Cunningham @decunningham2]

South Carolina has one of the starker divides of any state out there.

Western/Upstate SC has around ~2 million people and voted for Trump by 34 points.

The rest has ~3 million people and voted for him by 7.4% and - 0.5% in 2020.

[Eric Cunningham @decunningham2]

@Jake_W @bdquinn Haley was also specifically tied with Mark Sanford in the legislature and that didn't help things. https://t.co/Y4lChyOoP0
