@vinsmxkepiece@Aar0n455@SenninEnergy@MRrex_Jn "This is so not sexual it's totally an average representation of friendly intimacy to have these two women who barely know each others to touch themselves naked to bring some comfort emotionally !"
Be for real. You're almost insulting the intelligence of your guy.
@vinsmxkepiece@Aar0n455@SenninEnergy@MRrex_Jn Yes it fucking is you delusional fuck, this motherfucker draws panels some of these panels like an actual sex scene, and you know damn right he would NEVER do it the same way with dudes. You know it, and he doesn't even hide it.
@BurgundyStriker It sure looks that way to a random 23 years old liberal who was so shocked that people did not let that kind of things go that he made it his life's work.
@BurgundyStriker Isayama wrote about a fictional grudge of 2000 years while barely hiding that the real life equivalents that inspired him aren't even 100 years old. We should absolutely hold countries authors of atrocities responsible, that is not a cycle of hatred that will annihilate them.
@mmaikaberry@brokenwhiteflwr It's also not anti fascist to the extend of aiming for something better, it's only at a self defeatist level where the guy thinks nothing can really change because it's the way of the world, a POV that an average person with little care has. What I mean is, it's not that daring.
@mmaikaberry@brokenwhiteflwr It might not be pro-war, but it sure is anti-white guilt, probably through a japanese lense regarding old war crimes considering Isayama is japanese. And it does sympathize with nationalism, which is why Eren's very ultimate treatment is the way it is.
@SQuirrel147 I'm not sure why it's a taboo when it comes to making an observation. I'm always interested in how many people play a game, especially if it's online, where Europe usually doesn't match even half of America's numbers. If it's for slander, it's different of course.
@sleepyadora I really felt that annoying Avatar spirit when they chickened out of Kyoshi being put in a moral blender by making the governor a teenager, but honestly she deals with the most interesting conflict otherwise ( I haven't read Shadow yet either ).
@AquariiSa Because, the author doesn't really believe in alternatives to fascism based on logic. And it's the reason why Eren, even if he is condemned ethically, has a lot of people who think he was justified. The narrative concedes a chunk of the point to that side begin with.
@AquariiSa Here we have another side of the flaws of Isayama's story where the only path that led to self defense was the nationalist one and his protagonists had absolutely 0 idea, let alone any succesful one, to answer to their on going crisis. His framing speaks a lot here.
@AquariiSa If not that, who else ? Who is coming for what romans did 2000 years ago ? I'd like to come back to the first message. What was Isayama exactly getting at ? Like, who is he writing this for ?
@AquariiSa Who are the children getting hatred ? What inspired that for him ? Descendants of generations of war crime who want to turn the page faster than the popularions scarred for generations by their acts ?
