If Cristiano Ronaldo had won the Olympics, instead of getting knocked out in the fist round (and Messi had not won it), Cristiano fanboys would have now been telling us how the Olympics is greater than the World Cup.
Shameless bunch.
We, as citizens are too calm with this government, weโre an insecure nation welcoming almost 800 bandits back into the society.
When do we get to our breaking point?
@MAAHwrites@boblaporta It IS a compliment that he is compared to Messi, thanks to a rivalry completely generated and sustained by the media. He's nowhere near Messi as a player, if you watch them both play.
@yapperaholicc If we start on a clean slate today, with everyone having equal assets, we'd be back to having billionaires and the dirt-poor in less than a century.
@n6oflife6 If another country does this, the world will suddenly find its voice.
Abramovich was forced to sell his club Chelsea over the actions of Putin with Ukraine, but Boehly hasn't been forced to step down as chairman over the actions of Trump with Iran.
Hypocrisy runs the world.
I have met a lot of people that voted Peter Obi the last time and will be voting PBAT next year.
I have also met a lot of people that voted Peter Obi last time but will sit out this election because Peter Obi hasnโt been as inspiring as he was in 2023 and they do not consider the alternatives as better.
I havenโt met a single PBAT supporter that is now supporting Peter Obi or any other candidate( this is my reality)
I believe this administration hasnโt lived up to certain hype but I cannot deny that itโs been reform minded. Helping correct structural issues that have plagued this country far too long.
For example, the recent passage of the state policing bill is by no means a mean feat. That this administration makes it look easy or donโt blow their trumpet so loudly does not diminish the huge significance of the bill and the tireless work that they put into it.
The implementation of the Nigeria Payments System Vision 2028 ( championed by CBN) is another policy that has gone under the radar(I believe we should all read about the policy) . This is one policy that will revolutionize our financial system for good. One that will birth several financial innovation and products. There is no eradication of poverty without financial inclusion and it appears CBN is on an articulated agenda towards a sustainable path.
For some of us, there are enough reasons to stick around this current administration. The alternatives arenโt as inspiring and simply do not have what it takes to out perform this current administration.
@if_else_if@yorubachic@DMLJ_LFC Failing to qualify for two world cup tournaments in a row despite having some of the best players in Africa, is a failure of leadership.
If you are too stupid to see that, that's your business. Obi will point out leadership failures, and you can choke on your hate all we care.
Una too stupid. Where did he mention Tinubu? Since when did leadership exclusively mean 'presidency'? You don't know NFF (our football leadership) has its own leadership?
No wonder you people support Bulaba the microphone-licker. No functional brains in those batidiot skulls.

@if_else_if@yorubachic@DMLJ_LFC Wait, answer two questions before I proceed:
1) Did you watch the qualifier games?
2) Are you aware that the players went on strike in Nov 2025 (boycotted training) over unpaid bonuses and allowances owed by the NFF?
Just want to be sure I'm not wasting my time with a batidiot.
Yeah yeah, as the middle belt and south west are being ravaged by Fulani jihadi militia, the Nigerian army is focused on taking away weapons from locals in the south east.
How come Fulanis can move freely with weapons but others can't keep weapons to defend themselves?
SECURITY FORCES UNCOVER INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA/EASTERN SECURITY NETWORK ARMS CACHE IN ENUGU
Troops of 82 Division Garrison operating under Sector 1, Operation UDO KA, in collaboration with operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), Enugu State Command, have achieved a significant operational success in the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II in an effort to consolidate the peace building process in the South East.
On 9 June 2026, acting on credible intelligence derived from previously arrested suspects affiliated with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), security forces conducted a precision follow-up operation in Gariki, Enugu South Local Government Area. Troops uncovered a clandestine arms hideout concealed within a zinc structure disguised as a piggery. A thorough exploitation of the site led to the recovery of a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition. These include General Purpose Machine Guns, RPG-7 launcher tube, AK-47 rifles, hand grenades, tear gas gun with cartridges, AK-47 magazines, 270 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition, and 478 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition.
All recovered items and arrested suspects have been handed over to the DSS Enugu State Command for further investigation and appropriate legal action.
This intelligence-driven operation underscores the effective interagency collaboration in the region, resulting in proactive measures to counter threats to national unity and public safety. It also reflects the Operation UDO KAโs unwavering commitment to sustaining offensive actions against criminal and terrorist networks that undermine peace in the region.
The Operation UDO KA reaffirms its dedication to protecting citizens
and preserving national sovereignty. The public is strongly encouraged to continue providing timely and credible information to security forces, thereby enhancing collective efforts to achieve lasting peace and security in the South East.

@yorubachic@DMLJ_LFC Where did he mention the president? You see 'leadership' and think Nigerian president because you are an idiot.
The NFF has a president and other leaders. Together they are the leadership that has failed, resulting in two failures to qualify for the world cup.
Stupid oaf.
@Hhonor_ They are jihadists who want Islam all over Nigeria, and they have foreign sponsors that want to destroy the economy and cover up illegal resource mining. When they are done targeting agriculture and education, they would meet "it's not my business" Nigerians in their offices.
@Chevchenko78 You're mad. It's the duty of the president to protect Nigerians, not just the ones who vote for him. If the fool is not ready to do his job but prefer to make excuses for terrorism, he should get the hell out of office.
Securing Nigeria is his primary responsibility. Fool.
Non-state actors have no business being so brazen in their activities in a country with a federal government.
What is the commander of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria doing about any of this? Why is Tinubu silent as Nigerians get killed?
@Top_GunM You dey talk electricity. Nigerians are being murdered in their homes by jihadi terrorists, or abducted en-mass on roads with military checkpoints, and murdered on camera in gruesome ways.
A federal govt that keeps silent about that, is never going to bother about electricity.
E no go better for APC people. You imported Fulanis into the country, just to help rig for Buhari, and subsequently turned a blind eye as they performed acts of terrorism on Nigerians.
Even had the guts to deny genocides and call their attacks "communal clashes". Demons.
