@StormPath1989 Nobody is saying that Jax being trans justifies everything he has done.
(And just for the record, I did, indeed, notice your misgender-ings in your little image. You, uh... might wanna work on that. Makes it seem like you're just against trans people rather than making a point.)
@StormPath1989 He is the result of what happens when you don't get the help and support you need, and he shows the consequences. THAT'S his character.
He wouldn't have made his little attempt (which he fled from) to get help from Pomni before he abstracted if he was wracked with malice.
@StinkerTheStink me who thinks Frisk being a sort of Kris-esque vessel (I.E. they're definitely their own separate thing) ultimately makes their character arc more appealing and aligns with what Flowey says post-pacifist
@TemmieOrSmth99 Determination is both Red and Gold.
- Chara has ties to Red more than Gold
- Flowey loses his gold-ness when he has more determination than Frisk
- Determination is used in two ways: physical and power.
- Using one's determination bears the user red eyes (Susie, Kris, ETC.)
Jax, while definitely implied to be trans, is not trans rep
Jax represents someone who never got the mental help they needed, and the result of what that absence causes
All of the terrible stuff Jax did was to push others away in hopes of preventing vulnerability.
@The_Visitor157@OctorokR he did those things because he had a bad childhood and was pushed into uncomfortable territory. he was confused, he was angry, he was a lot of things. he became scared of being vulnerable because he didn't actually like hurting people.
he's not some sort of mega evil person.
@freddyboy609@OctorokR i can only assume you've watched episode 9, so...
it's made very clear that Jax does the things he's done as a way to keep people from digging deep into his personal life, not out a desire to do so or that he actually enjoys doing so.
pay attention to Jax's eyes.
@onekiru@SunnyTheAlien1@demenishki wow, that is REALLY weird to say about some stranger on the internet!
it seems like you didn't develop well socially. maybe this platform's the problem. take a few years off of it, and you'll think before you reply.
@sillydilly19624@ThatGalValerie i predict the entire "interview" is either going to have a lot of holes or is just one big ol' 'psychologist's fallacy'
things like this are why victims never want to come out and tell the world what happened to them
