The biggest problem today for a litigation Advocate is explaining to the client how a Judge arrived at a manifestly unlawful and unjust decision, why a reasonably early hearing date could not be given by the Court, why the Court gave a further mention in November, 2025 and many stupid happenings in Court. The CJ and Judges really do not care about these concerns we have to deal with everyday. They would rather we deal with the concerns before lay-mediators as they recruit more staff, conference and hold seminars over nothing everyday.

A middle-aged man walked into my OPD today with a peculiar complaint: "Doctor, I have suddenly become a morning person, but I have never felt more miserable."

He tells me he has no trouble falling asleep at 10 PM. But like clockwork, he snaps wide awake at 3:30 AM every single night. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t drift back. He spends those silent hours in a state of "heavy" dread, staring at the ceiling, feeling like the day ahead is an impossible mountain to climb.

By the time the sun is up, he’s physically and mentally drained.
In medicine, we call this Terminal Insomnia (Early Morning Awakening). While anxiety usually makes it hard to fall asleep, this specific pattern is a classic biological marker for Melancholic Depression!!

His circadian rhythm has shifted....his body is dumping cortisol hours too early, triggering a state of hyper-arousal during what should be his most restorative sleep.

It’s a reminder that depression isn't just "feeling sad"...it’s a systemic physiological glitch that hijacks your internal clock.

If someone tells you they have started waking up hours before their alarm and they feel their worst at dawn, don't just call them an early bird. Screen them for depression.

Been watching then all over sudden nikaamua kuenda balcony for some fresh air little did I know ni insticts.
A girl amepata seizure attack and as always crowds zikagather, one of them akawaadvise wampee maziwa.
Imebidi nimekimbia coz how they were managing it was very risky.

Wamemlalisha akiangalia juu alafu forcing her to take milk. This is very risky coz victim anaweza choke rahisi sana. Had to stop them and dispersed the crowd, checked her airway and luckily it was intact. Made her to lie on the side and stopped those women from giving her the milk. After like 5 minutes she was up, told the women to help her clear off the dirt on her clothes and definitely I had to give them some education incase of any future attack.

A person experiencing seizures and shaking involuntarily should be made to lie on the side, check airways to ensure 'asimeze' ulimi. The victim should NOT be given anything by mouth until they have recovered as they can easily choke since there is limited cough reflex.
Also ensure fresh air, loosen any tight clothes and remove anything that could cause harm.
The goal of managing a seizure attack to keep the victim off from any injuries.
Incase you come across such a case now you know what to do.
