moth calling himself a “kon baa” is funny because this episode reveals that he doesn’t actually hate people.
he likes crowds. he likes being around people. what he hates is people assuming that being attracted to him gives them access to him.
and when you’re constantly being approached, flirted with and pursued simply because of how you look, attention stops feeling flattering. it becomes exhausting.
moth doesn’t reject connection. he rejects unsolicited access.
suddenly, his obsession with boundaries makes a lot more sense. he wants to decide who gets his attention, who gets close, and most importantly, who gets access to him.
which makes dean interesting. dean is persistent, but moth eventually chooses to let him closer.
for someone like moth, that choice probably means far more than the attention itself.
pretty privilege sounds fun until everyone thinks your beauty is an invitation.

yes sex is good but have you ever had someone cuddle you in your sleep, touching you softly and letting you know they are here holding you and you're safe
"idk how to show u that im hurt w/o feeling too exposed so i'll make myself angry instead.. i'll lash out, say things i know will hurt u, push u away until u finally leave cuz i'd rather have u think i don't care abt u than let u see how deeply your actions have actually hurt me"
ppl watch shows however they want but to ME it’s kinda boring watching this and just trying to find the fault and morality of it all and what is and isn’t good behavior. like they’re both messy idiots fucking up their own ways and that’s fun To MEEEE #YouManiacSeriesEP3
unfortunately est is right if william didn't play dean so charmingly (and didn't have the prettiest face on earth) i would've punched him three eps ago
🦈: honestly, speaking frankly, dean’s character, if it weren’t william playing him, nobody would like him
🎸: believe it? acting in this series makes my face really sore
