Korean Consul General Seungcheol Lim visited UKH today and was warmly received by UKH President and Vice President Prof. De. Keith Sharp and Prof. Dr. Dana Mawlood, respectively.
Both sides discussed the value of comparative studies of the economics of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and South Korea.
Prof. Sharp expressed UKH’s interest and motivation in developing bilateral relations with Korean universities especially in the field of economics and financial sciences.
International cooperation was another topic discussed as UKH is broadening its mutual understandings and partnerships with prominent international universities.
Translating a 100 year old Korean text right now. It’s just amazing to see how many Chinese characters ( Hanja) they used back in the 1920s. There are also a few archaic Korean expressions. Difficult task but very interesting.
I'm absolutely honoured to have my article published and also chosen for the BADS translation prize! Can't express how much it meant for me! After a year of research into archives of Korean publications from 100 years ago. This is the best Christmas gift I could imagine!
I found my password again to Twitter finally lol. My new article was published with @VolupteJournal Please check out the link below if you are interested. https://t.co/Q7hSGNqBiu
