Following the death of PD Zara from @PoliceScotland in December 2024, it is with deep sadness that we share new evidence indicating that PD Zara was let down by those within Police Scotland who were entrusted with her welfare.

After reviewing her veterinary medical records, we can confirm that PD Zara’s prognosis was described as “great” following surgery, and that the specialist veterinary referral practice had requested authorisation for a CT scan to determine whether Zara required one or two surgeries. Instead of authorising the request from the veterinary specialists, the records show that the Inspector of the Police Scotland Dog Unit authorised the euthanasia of Police Dog Zara.

Police Scotland has since extended an invitation to the foundation to meet with us in the coming weeks to discuss our concerns. We remain fully committed to securing justice for Police Dog Zara. 🌈

I never thought I’d have to post something like this but the scariest thing happened to me tonight. Around 8:15pm tonight this man followed me from Slatterys to the Premier shop on hazel road In whitefield. He asked me for directions which I kindly helped him and he then proceeded to walk in the same direction. As I got further down the street he tripped me up and grabbed me by my bum to stop me from falling, he then tried several times to grab my hand and boobs. He then followed me into the shop where I managed to take a picture of his face, when he realised i took a photo he left the shop and waited outside for me. Please be careful if you are walking alone in Whitefield.
