I dislike how they added a bunch of high tech elevators and jumppads to a rustic, "natural" geometry map. It clashes thematically and feels lazy, when they could have flavored these gameplay functions as ruins and ziplines or something. Missing the trees for the forest

@daggarrebirth I don't think this system is primarily intended to get people into harder raids, people who want to do that are already in. By adding an intermediary level they're aiming for more players to be doing midcore grinds each patch, increasing player retention and subscription time

I've been saying this.
I really think the only way Deltarune can have multiple routes and "only one ending" in a way that wouldn't be mind numbingly boring is if a single route won't be enough to take you to the ending.
