Saira Baloch, sister of forcibly disappeared brothers Asif and Rasheed Baloch who were enforcedly disappeared by Pakistani forces and remains missing for the past seven years — speaks out in a video message:

“In Balochistan, serious human rights violations are unfolding every day. Our youth, students, elderly, even women and children are not spared. Such as, young girls like Mahjabeen Baloch have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

Extrajudicial killings have surged. Victims often return with signs of severe torture and some of those who get released don’t even survive due to the inhuman and barbarous torture inflicted inside torture cells.

Against this state barbarism, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) stood firm. They raised awareness and spoke the truth. And now, BYC itself is under attack. Its leaders are in illegal detention.”

In a video message, the sister of BYC central organizer Bebarg Baloch speaks out:

“Bebarg has dedicated his life to the struggle for Baloch rights and justice. No oppression has ever deterred him.

On 2nd March 2010, when Baloch Culture Day event was attacked by Pakistani forces, Bebarg was injured so severely that he lost the ability to walk forever. But even this pain never weakened his courage or his resolve to continue the struggle for the Baloch nation.

Today, he is not only illegally detained but he is being subjected to repeated mistreatment inside jail by the Superintendent Police, under pressure from Pakistani agencies. Despite his disability, he is being denied the medical attention he urgently needs. This is not only injustice , it is deeply inhuman.”

Today, the CPEC road in Omari Khan, Shapuk, was blocked once again as another young Baloch, Yawar Habib, son of Habib Baloch, was forcibly disappeared on 16 June 2025 in front of the High Court in Turbat.
