JUST IN: Inflation has fallen down to 6.8% in two months.
It’s inflation that eats into your savings.
It’s inflation that makes your money go less far.
Halving it is my number one priority. This is how we are getting it done👇🧵
@liamgallagher@NoelGallagher please make my two nephews of 10 and 15 with excellent music taste very happy and get your shit together and get Oasis playing in Ireland! Me and my sister saw you in Cork many years ago and it was epic! You gotta do soon before they are too cool
Sinn Fein crawled back into the Assembly after 3yrs, and the DUP will do similar after 2yrs, following the May elections. What did either achieve by their tantrums? There should be consequences for political truancy, no work, no pay would be a start.
Lord Heseltine: "Last week I turned 90. I'm still active in politics because of my deep resentment for the deception, lies & propaganda that were used to bring about the Brexit disaster. Those lies have deprived the next generations of their role at the heart of Europe".
The BBC have suspended Gary Lineker until he apologies and agrees not to post anything critical about the Government on Social Media.
If you stand with Gary Lineker against the Government and the BBC. RT and Like this post to show your support for him.
@columeastwood This can NEVER be allowed to happen again, these people supposed to be doing their job for all in Northern Ireland and they hold us to ransom! Enough is enough!!!
Since 2010 the pay of nurses has risen by just £5,400 while MPs have received an eye-watering £20,846 in pay rises.
Who do you think needs a pay rise nurses or our politicians?
#FairPayforNursing
It really didn’t take long for the Tories to go from cheering and clapping essential workers, to threats of sacking them when they ask for fairer pay. Then again, clapping costs nothing and they like cutting costs (for anyone they’re not close chums with).
After last night, the choice is clear:
You’re either with nurses, teachers, firefighters and frontline workers.
Or you’re with the Tory government.
It’s time for everyone to pick a side.
#RightToStrike
Rishi Sunak is planning new anti-worker laws that would see nurses, teachers, firefighters & other key workers sacked if they strike to defend their rights.
This is a disgraceful attack on the whole working class.
It must be fought in Parliament, in workplaces & in the streets.
Pls don’t let the govt gaslight you into thinking it’s ‘normal’ for patients to be dying in their droves at home, in ambulances, in corridors, in cupboards. Excess deaths are 26% higher than usual. This isn’t normal, it’s grotesque.
A humanitarian crisis, yet Sunak does nothing.
This Rishi Sunak speech is just making me angry. He really hasn’t ever spoken to a nurse or a teacher has he. Or ever called 111 or 101 for that matter.
