David Holden is the first British Army veteran to be prosecuted for a legacy related case in Northern Ireland
Justice O’Hara said Holden gave a ‘deliberately false account’ to the court and - in his view- had deliberately pulled the trigger in killing Aidan McAnespie
Aidan McAnespie was fatally shot on his way to a Gaelic football match in Northern Ireland in '88.
Today, 34 years later, the trial into his death begins.
The trial represents the due process that the UK Government is seeking to shut down for victims.

I was alerted to nurses having pay deducted because of recent industrial action
They took this action for pay parity, safe staffing levels & to provide for the health service
They should not be penalised for this
There will be no deduction from wages of nurses & health staff
